Thats right, you don’t have to wait for Leopard to use Virtual Desktops (Spaces). I’ve been using Virtudesktops for four days now, and I can say that it has increased my productivity more than any other application. With its starting config of four desktops and the ability to add more and reaname them as you wish, Virtuedesktops is no light hitter. This app relieves so much clutter and lets me have sets of windows that go together; mail and ichat/adium are together for communications, safari and flock are together for browsing, text editors and itunes are together for my writing and listening, and Pro and iLife apps are together. This enables me to have many (23 yesterday) applications open and fully functional. I am able to access them with a quick hotkey. I reccomend Virtuedesktops to anyone who has any type of clutter on their screen, especially those with smaller laptop size screens.
